BIOGRAPHY

Ulrika Nilsson is an experienced policy and project consultant in view of European and international collaboration. Ulrika has helped a wide range of societal actors, networks and organisations based at the local and regional levels in Sweden to connect with the European arena. Ulrika has worked at the Eskilstuna Modern Art Museum, Foundation for Culture for the Future, the British Council Sweden Office based at the British Embassy in Stockholm, at the Association of Local Authorities of Örebro County in Central Sweden, the Swedish Women’s Lobby in Stockholm and at the University College London in the UK. She holds an MSc in Citizenship, Democracy and Political Theory from the University of Southampton in the UK, and a BA Hons in Government and European Union Studies – including one year as British Erasmus student at “L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris” in France – from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. She has further completed a six month in-service training at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels (EESC), set up by the Treaty establishing the EEC in 1957.
